How does a booking work end-to-end?

You pick a route or tour, choose a driver, fill in the booking form (pickup, time, passengers, special requests), and confirm. The driver receives the request and accepts it — usually in a few minutes. You receive a confirmation email and an in-account page where you can chat with the driver, change details, or cancel for free. On the day of the trip you meet the driver at the agreed pickup, and pay the agreed fare in cash.

How do I pay for the trip?

In cash, directly to the driver, on pickup. No deposit, no card hold, no online payment. The price you see on the booking page is the price you pay — no booking fees, no service charge, no surprises.

Can I cancel for free?

Yes — any time before the trip starts. We do not charge cancellation fees, hold deposits, or penalise late cancellations. Cancel from the booking page or from the chat with the driver.

Are the drivers verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every driver goes through a manual review before the profile goes public. We see and verify their national ID, driving licence, vehicle registration papers and active insurance. Photos of every angle of the vehicle are checked against the documents — no stock photos, no anonymous fleets.

How long does the driver wait for us at sights?

For a transfer with stops, drivers will wait short times (5–20 minutes) at each stop without any extra charge. For day tours and hourly hire, the driver is yours for the booked window — they wait wherever and however long the itinerary calls for, within the booked hours.

Are vehicles insured?

Yes. Every driver on TransferGeorgia carries the mandatory third-party motor liability insurance under Georgian law, and many carry comprehensive coverage. Insurance papers are checked at registration and renewals are followed up automatically.

When can I leave a review?

After the trip — we email you a personalised review link within a day. You can leave a 1–5 star rating and an optional written comment about the driver, the car and the experience.

Do I need to create an account before booking?

Accepted Answer

No — the account is created for you on your first booking. We use the email from the form, send a one-time code to confirm it, and from that point on you sign in with the same email any time.

How do I become a driver on TransferGeorgia?

Accepted Answer

Sign up through the driver portal. We’ll ask for your ID, driving licence, vehicle papers and insurance. A reviewer goes through the documents within a few days and activates your profile if everything checks out. There’s no listing fee.
